November 2008 - Nurseries Holmecoming

Holme Nurseries, the family owned nurseries and garden centre based in Dorset are using Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (Microsoft RMS) from Davidson-Richards. Having used an EPOS system previously, the Owner Simon Goldsack needed to change due to many problems with the former system which Microsoft RMS and our RMSynergy software addressed.

Utilising our Advanced Customer Loyalty software, Holme Nurseries are able to gather customers purchase habits at the till and monitor the spend from their Privilege Card Holders. In addition, personalised mailings can be produced as required to include money-off vouchers and exclusive offers for card holders as well as raising awareness of promotions, new product lines or new ventures such as the Tea Room. 

The planned Tea Room will also use Microsoft RMS and incorporates our Hospitality feature already used by many leading independent garden centres throughout the UK and Ireland.  Wi-Fi Motorola handheld devices are also being used to allow for deliveries to be processed quickly and optimise stock management.
